Santa Clara, Calif., September 24, 2020 – Achronix Semiconductor Corporation, a leader in FPGA-based data accelerator devices and high-performance eFPGA IP targeting AI, ML networking and data center applications, announces its participation in this year's Linley Fall Processor Conference.
What
The Linley Fall Processor Conference brings together industry leaders, technical topics and sessions to discuss advanced technology and new trends that affect real-world applications. Presentations will address processors and IP cores for AI applications, embedded, data center, automotive, and communications.
Presentation
Mike Fitton, Senior Director of Strategy and Planning will present “Massive Edge Computing Opportunity and the Fourth FPGA Wave.” The presentation discusses the similarities of the edge opportunity to cloud infrastructure during the last decade, and the factors driving infrastructure transformation at the edge. In this fourth FPGA era, FPGAs are ubiquitous programmable building blocks with 5G and IoT use cases driving the need for massive data bandwidth and computing at the source of the data.
